Sylhet tea gardens open a visitor week for families abroad

Tea gardens around Sylhet set aside a visitor week for families who are home for the holidays. The walks are short, the paths are marked, and the gardens asked guests to stay on the paths.
Each garden posted a morning and an afternoon group. Children under 12 stay with an adult. The visitor huts have drinking water and a place to sit out a shower.
Guides are garden workers, not a separate tour company. They will talk about the leaf pick and the road that connects the gardens to town.
Tickets are limited to forty people a day so the paths stay walkable. Names are taken at the Sylhet community board and at the garden gate until the list is full.
