Kissimmee grant desk opens for neighborhood shops

A grant desk in Kissimmee is open this week for neighborhood shops that want help reading a small-business form. The desk does not approve the grant. It helps owners gather the papers.
Owners should bring a lease, a sales summary for the last three months, and a photo ID. If the shop is new, a supplier invoice is enough to start the file.
Appointments are half an hour. Walk-ins are taken after 2 pm if a chair is free. The desk speaks English and Bangla.
The form asks for a short description of what the money would buy, such as a cooler, a shelf, or a month of rent. Owners who are not sure which line to use can leave that box for the appointment.
