A reading circle starts a Bangla story hour

A reading circle started a Bangla story hour for children on Sunday afternoons. The first books are short, and parents can sit in the same room.

The hour is 3 to 4 pm in the community library corner. Children do not need to read yet. The reader tells the story and then lets the older children read one page aloud.

Families can bring a book from home for the sharing shelf. The shelf is not a loan library. Books left there stay until the owner picks them up.

The circle asked for two more readers so the hour can continue when the first reader is traveling. Names go on the sheet by the door.
