Pharmacies extend hours during the school clinic week

Two neighborhood pharmacies extended hours during the school clinic week so families can pick up prescriptions after the evening clinic.
The extra hour is 7 to 8 pm, Monday through Thursday. The pharmacies asked people to call first if the prescription was sent the same day, because the fill may not be ready at the start of the hour.
Insurance questions are still handled in the daytime. The evening window is for pickup of medicines that are already approved.
The school clinic itself is for screenings and forms. It does not replace a regular doctor, and the note sent home says that on the first line.
