Youth football keeps Sunday morning fields

Youth football will keep the Sunday morning fields through the fall. The parks office confirmed the permit after parents asked whether a tournament would take the grass.
Games stay at 8 am and 10 am. The 8 am game is the younger side. Cleats that leave deep marks are not allowed after last month's repair to the center circle.
Parents who can help with the line and the water should add a name to the clipboard at the first game. The league needs two adults per match who are not coaching.
If lightning is in the area, the referee stops play and the teams wait in the cars. The parks rule is thirty minutes after the last thunder before anyone goes back on the grass.
